Our Story
Welcome to KP Cattle
Rooted in Tradition. Built for Today.
KP Cattle is built on four generations of hard work and heritage, starting with my great-grandfather, Joe “Papa Joe” Perry, and the JP brand registered in 1952.
Today, our family’s legacy continues at Painted Oaks Farm in Jack County, purchased by my grandfather, Charles “Pawpaw” Perry, in 1995. I founded KP Cattle in 2020, and in 2025 introduced the KJP Bar Brand—a new mark honoring our past while forging our future.

Why We Do It
At KP Cattle, we’re continuing a legacy four generations strong—rooted in family, built on integrity, and driven by a deep respect for the land and livestock. What started with Papa Joe and the JP Bar Brand lives on through every pasture, bale, and brand we put our name on.
How We Do It
We raise our cattle with care and run our operation with honesty—just like our family has always done. From Painted Oaks Farm to every customer we serve, we combine experience, hard work, and a commitment to doing things the right way, every time.

Our beef is proudly USDA approved, meaning it meets strict federal standards for safety, quality, and processing. Every cut is inspected to ensure it’s wholesome, properly handled, and free from contaminants. This certification is your assurance that KP Cattle’s beef is not only raised with care, but also processed under rigorous guidelines that protect your family’s health and guarantee a consistent, high-quality product from pasture to plate.
